I had a chalet at Changi Aloha the past 2 days. It was with those who went to the China trip in September. A nice little reunion. Not everyone was there though, a shame but i guess we cant fit everyone into the chosen date. The chalet was huge, more like a bungalow. The BBQ was G-O-O-D. I'd give credits to Ken, the organiser who did everything well, and the cook behind the bbq. One of the better few bbqs ive been to. The food was properly cooked and there wasn't much of a hassle.
So we chilled throughout the night. Talked about our previous experiences at China and how we missed the place. Some played mahjong to burn time while i watch in confusion. I understand nuts about mahjong. Very alien to me. But then we got bored and headed out.
That's when we headed towards OCH aka Old Changi Hospital which was like just across the road from our chalet. The time was around 2 in the morning i think. Was pretty eerie. Dark, gloomy, and very torn down place. 2nd time ive been dere. Ken brought all of us to the roof of the hospital where we got a spectacle view of the area around. Nothing much happened, no spooks. After that we went back to the chalet and played games as a whole and pretty much slacked the night through.
It was great having to meet everybody again. Hoepfully our bonding shall last. Kudos!

OMG I've been to OCH too. It's c.r.e.e.p.y.
I was a patient in Changi Hospital in 1969 on two occasions. I had cysts removed from behind my ears. The place was not at all creepy then. Enjoyed the blog and getting some idea of a Gen Y Singaporean student. I was there 1968-1970, went to RAF Changi Infants/Primary School but all of my friends after school were Singaporeans, no Brits or Aussies where we lived in Katong. Cheers and keep blogging.
