What is Earth Hour?
On March 29 last year ,several cities in the world switched off their lights for a whole hour as an act to prevent global warming. Cities such as Chicago, Sydney and so many more have participated in this global event. And this year, Singapore have just took a step forward and joined the global movement.

Time: 8.30pm - 9.30pm
What do you do? Spare your lights by switching them off for a whole hour!

So for a whole hour, the world is a dark dark place. Why not take the opportunity and do some fun activities?

There have been reported activities of:
- candle-lit parties
- candle-lit dinners at participating restaurants
- stargazing at Chinese Garden
- etc


I am so excited about this event. Who's in for a trip to the Southern Ridges on 28 March to get a birds eye view of Harbour Front as the light switches off to mark the start of Earth Hour?! I know I'm in!
