I'm sure you guys have heard a song titled La Bamba before. It's ultra catchy with its Mexican lyrics & sleek guitar picks. It's sung by none other than Ritchie Valens! Ritchie Valens was a rock n roll star in the late 50s. He was picked out for his talent just at the mere age of seventeen. Unfortunately, Valens alongside with Buddy Holly (another rock n roll legend) died in a plane crash while touring America. Valens died at the peak of his career at age 18. He left behind his mother, brother, and a girlfriend. An incredible talent shortlived. So here's to Ritchie Valens!

A movie titled "La Bamba" was made in memory of the late singer himself. I watched it afew years back and have instantly fallen in love with Valens' songs. So here's a clip from the movie, with one of the hit songs by Valens, "We belong together".



Yeah Valens undoubtedly have talent to write uberly sweet songs. Some of his other notable songs are, Donna; one song he wrote for his gf, Ooh! My head, and Come on! Let's go!
